About the founder
Founder of Sequoia Translations, Anne Lavallée holds a bachelor's degree in translation from Université Laval and a certificate in localization (software translation) from Université de Montréal. She also studied professional writing at the Université de Montréal.
After obtaining her bachelor's degree in 2002, Anne worked a few years as an in-house translator, including two years in a translation agency. Building on this experience, she then embarked on her own professional adventure by founding Sequoia Translations, where she has worked since 2005.
Eager for new challenges and keen to share her experience and passion, Anne began working as a mentor in 2020 and as a professional inspector in 2022 for the Ordre des traducteurs, terminologues et interprètes agréés du Québec (OTTIAQ).
