About the founder
Founder of Sequoia Translations, Anne Lavallée holds a bachelor's degree in translation from Laval University and a certificate in localization (software translation) from the University of Montreal. She also studied professional writing at the University of Montreal.
After obtaining her bachelor's degree in 2002, Anne worked a few years as an in-house translator, including two years in a translation agency. On the strength of this experience, she then embarked on her own professional adventure by founding Sequoia Translations, where she has worked since 2005.
Eager for new challenges and keen to share her experience and passion, Anne became a mentor for the Ordre des traducteurs, terminologues et interprètes agréés du Québec (OTTIAQ) in 2020, then an advisory inspector, also for the Order, in 2022.
